Abstract
A novel design of parka hood was given a limited field trial at Fort Churchill. The hood was intended to give complete protection against frostbite, while maintaining full vision and preventing fogging or frosting of spectacles. Various experiments with minor modifications of the hood were tried under a variety of weather conditions.
