Abstract
Measurements were made of the output power, gas charge composition and electrical discharge properties during typical runs of the Intermediate High Repetition Rate Laser (Intermediate HRRL). In the present configuration of the laser, the conversion of CO2 into CO and O2 appears to be the only important effect leading to power loss in the HRRL unless there are bright arcs present in the electrode assembly.
