Abstract
DAOR has a continuing project directive to provide Computer Aids for strategic airlift analysis. The program - CAMEL, is the latest in an apparently endless stream. As with several of its predecessors, it is designed to meet some requirements not met by CASSTRO (1) and to keep the input requirements to a level commensurate with the program output. CAMEL is written in SIMSCRIPT II.5. The need for this program was identified during a recent CADO study of Emergency Airlift tasking wherein it was a requirement to account for individual crew and aircraft hours, and to account for the interaction between aircraft delays and the length of crew duty days. There was also a requirement to have more than one offload - a feature not easily accommodated with other available programs.
