- Abstract
- The physiological considerations for arctic clothing design, the ways of regulating heat loss from cold-weather clothing and the materials for use in arctic clothing are briefly discussed. A first- and second-generation cold-weather clothing system, based on the Inuit two-layer clothing system are described and trials in the field of these two systems are presented.
