Abstract
HI-6 and HS-6 were injected into rats. Urine samples were collected and examined for products of HI-6 and HS-6 metabolism. Fluorometric determinations indicated that only a fraction of the administered compounds (23% of HS-6 or 60% of HI-6) was excreted unchanged. Of the remainder, nicotinamides and nocotinic acids have been tentatively identified. Recommendations are made for the positioning of the 14C-radiolabel, necessary for a more extensive study.
