Abstract
A survey of automatic detection and plot extraction techniques for surveillance radars is presented. The results are drawn from published reports and papers and from discussions held with others working in the field. In most cases, the results are presented in graphical form to facilitate comparisons between the various techniques. The techniques are generally applicable to 2D radars. The report should be of interest to those working in the field of automatic detection and tracking for surveillance radar systems.
