Abstract
The report has three basic functions. It is a review of the state of the helicopter assessment program that was used for Bronze Talon 2. It also details the changes made to the program for the Bronze Talon 3 game, and finally, outlines changes that need to be made to further improve the routines and convert them to FLECS-FORTRAN so that they can be run on the PDP 11/34 (the programs are currently on the Hewlett Packard HP2000A). The changes outlined in Part II were initiated after reviewing the Bronze Talon 2 version and the requirements for Bronze Talon 3. It became apparent at the time the changes would have to be made to the program to handle new requirements set by the sponsors. As there was not enough time to perform the full conversion before Bronze Talon 3 got under way, it was decided to effect only those changes that were necessary to play the new equipment and tactics being requested for Bronze Talon 3.
