Abstract
An experimental personal cooling system developed by the Medical Life Support Division of DCIEM was modified to incorporate individual Control Display Units (CDUs). These units were necessary to overcome problems related to inconsistent coolant flow rates and to provide a means of individual control over the coolant inlet temperature supplied to the vest. In addition updated system operating and maintenance procedures were established.
