Abstract
DCIEM was tasked to provide human engineering design information for the Landing Safety Officer Compartment and Flight Deck Control Room for the Canadian Patrol Frigate. The report describes a systems analysis of DDH 280 Air Operations conducted to investigate the interrelationships between personnel manning the compartments and their interrelationships with other ship systems. Functional Flow Block Diagrams, Task Analyses, Operational Sequence Diagrams, and Position Descriptions were prepared as part of that analysis. The results describe the functions, tasks, duties, and responsibilities identified for each operator.
