Abstract
The SC310A airburst chemical disperser has been examined, and it appears that problems noted with an earlier version, the SC310, have largely been overcome. These problems centered on an inconsistent height of burst and a fire-starting hazard. Some environmental exposures indicated the SC310A to be a rugged and reliable device. The SC410 works well, but appears to lack ruggedness in its present experimental form.
