Abstract
Under conditions of war it is obvious that much higher than normal individual risks may have to be accepted by those with vital functions to perform in the interests of national survival. Operational planning should be based on a clear appreciation of the costs and consequences of these risks. Atable has been prepared showing the total whole body dose levels in roentgens which are considered most significant in planning and operational decision making.
