Abstract
It was hypothesized that one measure of progressive heat acclimatization should be a narrowing down of the range of mean weighted skin temperate at the moment of the onset of sweating. Asimple and useful index of level of acclimatization which would not involve establishing a control value for each subject to an unaccustomed beast stress by being for example airlifted at short notice from a temperate to a tropical environment.
