Abstract
The report examines the central and peripheral acetylcholinesterase activity in relation to the enhancement of survival of soman-treated rats treated once or several times with the oxime HI-6. The studies also showed a dramatic antitremorgenic activity of HI-6 following a second injection. Further aspects of the mechanism of action of HI-6 against soman poisoning are discussed.
