Abstract
The main objective of the work is to explore the effects of different hydrocarbon types upon combustion in a gas turbine combustor. Pratt and Whitney Canada are currently investigating the effects of alternative fuels within the PT6A-65 engine and this series of reports deals with predicting the effects of such fuels upon the combustion performance. The report gives the results for the evaluation of the baseline data required for the prediction of fuel influence on wall temperature.
