Abstract
The available data on executive flight service provided by the Department of Transport (DOT) and the Department of National Defence (DND) are analyzed and a queueing model is presented which could be a useful tool in quantifying current and future system performance. The level of service provided in the past has been excellent and this can be expected to continue in the future DND system, however, tight management of the total system will be required. Therefore the information system established by DOT in the Flight Coordination Centre should be adopted by DND.
