- Abstract
- The paper discusses man-modelling CAD systems, focusing on their applications to ergonomics and the quality of their interface with ergonomists as users. Three specific systems are examined to demonstrate the applications and limitations of computer man-models that are presently available, and requirements for an ideal system are identified. Recommendations are made for future development of man-modelling CAD systems, and their presentation to the user.
