ADAPTATION OF THE DND LCC MODEL TO THE MLVW RADIATOR PROBLEM

Abstract
The Medium Logistic Vehicle (Wheeled) (MLVW) has been experiencing more radiator bracket failure than anticipated. The new radiators being purchased to replace the failed radiators are expected to last longer then the original radiators did. This paper uses the DND life cycle costing model to determine the quantity of the new radiators that should be purchased. The model also provides the optimal distribution for the spares.
