Abstract
An electromagnetic yoke is normally employed to position the beam of charged particles produced by an accelerator. Such a yoke, which is meant to provide only small corrections in beam position, will usually have small currents through its coils. Since beam position is reversed with reversed coil currents, and, to avoid the use of polarity-reversing switches a simple, transistorized, current-reversing power supply has been designed.
