Abstract
In this project the operating conditions of IONSCAN, a chemical detector system based on Ion Mobility Spectrometry, were optimized for analysis of biological warfare agent simulants such as Bacillus Globigii (BG) and New Castle Disease Virus (NDV). At the optimized conditions various biological materials were investigated in order to identify the spectra obtained from the whole organisms.
