Abstract
The report discusses the design and fabrication of a 32-channel Avalanche Photodiode Detector Interface (APD-32). The APD-32 system digitizes 32 channels of an APD array at a speed of 10 MHz, and performs peak detection on the digitized data. An I/O channel interface allows the data to be acquired via this 8-bit bus. Besides the APD-32 system, the design of a log amplifier for the APD array elements is also documented.
