Abstract
The report summarizes our work on the Radar Registration project funded by DREO. The project aims at proposing a cost-effective approach to solve radar registration problems currently existing in the North Warning System (NWS). The focus of the registration problems in NWS is the ghost track in regions of overlapping radar coverage. In this report, we analyze the registration algorithm currently used by NWS and propose a few new registration algorithms. These new algorithms will be evaluated by simulation and compared with the current one. Recommendations with respect to these new algorithms will be made based on the accuracy, efficiency and degrees of modification to the current algorithm. Different options of improving the current algorithm are presented to scientific authorities of DREO.
