Abstract
This research note describes the majority of work required before and during a wargame conducted using the Computer Assisted Board Game (CABG) and/or Janus simulation. Emphasis is placed on the duties of the Controller during the conduct of a research wargame. These comments are based on the experience gained during the IRON JOUST, IRON NOBLE, and BRONZE PIKE wargames.
