Abstract
The document presents an overview of a knowledge-based threat evaluation and weapon assignment (TEWA) testbed referred to as the AAW simulator. This testbed is used to generate weapon assignment reactions where the deployment of hardkill and softkill weapons is integrated with ship movements such as rotation. It incorporates efficient weapon assignment algorithms for single and multiple ship cases. Resource allocation results are presented for the knowledge-based TEWA of a single, manoeuvrable ship attacked by twelve anti-ship missiles and those of four ships attacked each by a pair of anti-ship missiles.
