Abstract
Following a formal evaluation of the Dependents Education Programmes in Canada, it was determined that there was also a requirement for a study of the dependents' education system overseas. The Directorate of Social and Economic Analysis was tasked to design a study to evaluate the adequacy of school facilities and the quality, scope and availability of various programmes overseas. This is the seventh in a series of reports that describe the data collected during the study. Here, an assessment is made of special education, guidance counselling, extra-curricular activities and field trips available at the overseas schools.
