Abstract
Over the past ten years a large amount of time and effort has been devoted to the development of a Biochemical Detector. Development of the Biological Detector was undertaken to supply the armed forces with a means of detecting and identifying biological and/or mid spectrum agent use. More recently the concept of a biological has grown to include Hand-Held Test Kits, portable kits for the rapid identification of biological agents in the field. Under ideal conditions, the kits would also find use in the field hospitals to help in the diagnosis of potential of infected individuals.
