Abstract
This report documents an analysis of the integration of the Tactical Battle Field Command System (TBCS) into the future Canadian Leopard C2 turret. The aims of the project were to examine the physical integration of the TBCS into the Leopard C2 turret, and to consider the interface in terms of position, usability, accessibility, maintainability and physical integration with other equipment likely to be found within the turret. It was determined that the layout options in approximate order of preference include: 1. replace comamnder eyepiece to primay sight, 2. slide on rail to left of commander, 3 mount vertically on a "flip down" hinge in front of the commander, 4 mount on protection fence to left of commander, and 5. split system as per Wegmann March 6 concept.
