Abstract
In a previous study on electrical characterization of Exploding Foil Initiators (EFIs), a general statistical model that expresses the probabiliy of detonation of EFIs as a function of the power delivered to the bridgefoil at burst and the rate of current rise was developed. This memorandum presents the statistical procedure applicable to EFI electrical characterization and describes the proper experimental methodology. Experimental results are given and processed to illustrate the methodology.
