Abstract
This document sumamrizes the work done by Advanced Information Technologies Corporation (AIT) in filfilment of DND contract 05SV.W7714-3-9700 from November 1993 to June 1995. Part of the work involved the calibration, processing and analysis of data from the Experimental Array Radar System (EARS) at Defence Research Establishment Ottawa (DREO) to validate main-beam and side-lobe jammer suppression algorithms developed by their scientists. The algorithms were developed into software by AIT and evaluated first with simulated, then with real data. Another major task was the ongoing development and implementation of a phased array radar (based on a proposed array configuration) simulation program to carry out a Multi-Function Radar (MFR) system study. Work was also carried out in support of experimental radar trials with EARS to assist in the data collection and in planning some of the trials.
