Abstract
SEALOADS is a computer software package for the time-domain prediction of nonlinear ship motions, hydrodynamic hull pressures, and sea loads. This manual explains how to use the program. The SEALOADS code consists of three modules. One module computes time-domain hydrodynamic coefficients and the impulsive response functions of the forces and pressures due to the radiated waves. Another module solves the time-domain response functions of the forces and pressures due to diffracted waves. The main program module computes ship motions, hydrodynamic pressure distribution on the ship hull, and sea loads in the time domain. The SEALOAD code is written for use with a FreeBSD UNIX system. A flow chart and procedures for running the package are included. Input and output file structures are described in detail. Example files are also included in the report.
