Abstract
Dssp20 is a semiempirically-based suite of software modules for evaluating the dynamics and manoeuvering of streamlined underwater vehicles including submarines, smaller unmanned submersibles, and towfish. This memorandum is a user guide for the preprocessing modules which convert a geometric definition of the vehicle into the internal description required for hydrodynamic calculations. It contains detailed descriptions of input preparation, brief discussions of output, and information for interpreting error messages.
