Abstract
This report presents and discusses the issues involved in implementing computer electronic countermeasures (CECM) within a jammer system. Further, the report presents an initial proof of concept demonstration system, its upgrade path and estimated performance. Computed electronic countermeasures are countermeasures where the transmitted signal is digitally formed entirely or in large part using one or more programmable digital computers. By using a digital representation of a radar pulse, the signal can be mathematically modified by computation in software to model the echo signals for arbitrary false targets.
