Abstract
The systemic effects of different intravenous (iv) doses of sulphur mustard (HD) were evaluated in an anaesthetized domestic swine model (DSM). Physiological, hematological, biochemical, and clinical parameters were evaluated and compared to anaesthetized controls. There was a dose-dependent response to HD, which is demonstrated best in the physiological parameters monitored and collected under general anesthesia (GA). Tissue was collected post-mortem for histopathological evaluation. Dr. P.N. Nation of Veterinary Pathology Laboratory, 9520 27th Ave., Edmondon, AB conducted this examination.
