Abstract
This report presents an option analysis for the replacement of the precision approach landing systems (PALS) at Canadian Forces major wings. PALS are needed to land aircraft in bad weather and also for the purpose on training pilots. The analysis takes into account the properties of each PALS system, the operational requirements at each CF wing, the avionics limitations and the costs both capital and operational.
