Abstract
The NATO Performance Assessment Questionnaire (PAQ) was developed to obtain a large database on fatigue, motion sickness and task performance problems associated with ship motions in the naval environment. The PAQ was deployed on seven ships of the NATO Standing Naval Forces Atlantic fleet (STANAVFORLANT), during North Atlantic combat exercises in February and March of 1997. The resulting PAQ database contains over 16,500 completions of the 41-parameter 'Symptoms' and 'Performance' sections of the PAQ. This technical memorandum documents the contents and format of the PAQ database and related files, version 1.
