This final report summarized the development and implementation G-DAP software package. G-DAP (The Acceleration/Gz/Data Analysis Package) is a Labview-based package for custom-designed analysis of physiological data pertinent to acceleration physiology research conducted at DCIEM. G-DAP reduces the amount of manual operations towards automatic review, playback, signal processing, and analysis of data acquired in human centrifuge, tilt-table or flight experiments. Furthermore, G-DAP automatically calculates predefined and/or custom-defined physiological indices used in acceleration physiology research, such as blood flow analysis and calculation of related indices (e.g., cardiac index), and ear-opacity signals identification and analysis (based on an adaptive peak detection algorith). G-DAP reflects major requirements of ALSS users, such as unique data analysis features, optimal GUI designs, and ease of customization and expansion. Furthermore, G-DAP allows synergetic co-operation with Labview-based Centrifuge Data Acquisition (DAQ) System DDAS implemented and installed by the ALSS. G-DAP is designed based on open architecture concepts. As a result, new functions can be readily added in the future to carry out more sophisticated and comprehensive analysis. TRUNCATED
