Abstract
This report provides and summarizes the results from a contract to develop a database of Canadian Forces operations for the period 1970-2000. An independent, academic review of historical evidence in open, unclassified sources was performed. The data contain some information in the form of brief facts for analysis purposes, as well as information in the form of a larger description, when appropriate, to provide more background on the operations. The data include, where possible: the operation code name, a brief description, the opposition force (if applicable) or reason for the operation, any coalition partners, the organization running the operation, what was deployed, the contingent size, the type of planning scenario, start and end dates, and whether the operation was executed.
