Abstract
In this technical memorandum, we analyse the security-relevant Windows 2000 policies that can be set up on Windows 2000 domains and show how those policies are applied and implemented. These policies are a large set of authentication policies, password policies, application policies, installation policies, and others. This analysis is a first step needed before setting up the Windows 2000 policies for one more secure domain demonstrators for the Canadian Forces and other organisations where normal users would be low power users to mitigate risk on domain assets.
