Abstract
This study identifies technologies that can be considered in a future R&D project to implement a proof-of-concept technology demonstration that will attempt to achieve 1 metre 3D indoor positioning accuracy under the widest possible range of operating environments. Existing and emerging RF and self-contained technologies are reviewed for indoor location and to propose potential systems that could be considered for evaluation.
