Abstract
The Human Performance Module (HPM) is a network simulation software package for building models that simulate real-life processes. With HPM models, you can gain useful information about processes and human performance that might be too expensive or time-consuming to test in the real world. The HPM works under the shell of the Integrated Performance Modelling Environment, which includes environment, task network, operator, and performance shaping models, and tools for work load analysis. This manual focuses on the Human Performance Module, which is used to create and run the task network model. The Human Performance Module does not use the terminology or graphic representations of a specific industry. You can model any process as a network of tasks that can be represented in a flow chart diagram. The terms that are used are defined by you.
