MUST 2000 Hymap Preliminary Analysis

Abstract
This report describes results of a preliminary analysis of HYMAP shortwave infrared (SWIR) preprocessed imagery taken over a set of minefields during the MUST2000 trial of May 2000. The analysis approach involved applying standard classification techniques found in the RSI ENVI spectral image analysis package and the DRDC Suffield linear correlation coefficient classifier. No mines were identified in the images, likely due to the inadequate spatial resolution (3 m) and lack of sufficient ground control points to accurately register the mine locations on the images in ArcView.
