Abstract
This study proposes a new approach to conceptual model representation and validation. Conceptual models are widely used in Modelling and Simulation (M&S) and are becoming one of the main building blocks of the distributed simulation development. It is also vital to state the development environment in which the conceptual model representation and validation techniques will be applied. Therefore, this study first proposes a vision for a distributed simulation environment, then prepares the technical ground for the conceptual model representation and validation techniques, and finally presents a conceptual model representation and validation technique.
