Abstract
This project, “A Noise Dosimetry Study of Selected Military Trades at CFB Greenwood and CFB Halifax” is part of a larger study of risk factors being conducted by members of the Communications Group at DRDC Toronto. Dosimeters, individually worn sound level meters, were used for an entire workday by the 264 volunteer subjects who participated in the project. Twenty different trades were represented. An analysis of the data revealed that a significant number of volunteers were exposed to noise levels potentially capable of causing hearing damage.
