Recent interest in military culture and culture change has led to a variety of initiatives within the Canadian Forces devoted to better understanding these, and related concepts. All of these initiatives are grounded in a broad familiarity with the scholarly literature on military culture and culture change. The large amount of scholarly material available means that individuals new to this area of study must devote substantial amounts of time to reading the literature in order to gain an understanding of the current status of pertinent research, however. This annotated bibliography was prepared to facilitate a more rapid understanding of the most recent research that informs work on military culture and culture change within the Canadian Forces. It presents a comprehensive collection of the best literature produced over the past decade on military culture and culture change, and summarizes the main strengths and findings of a range of sources.
