Abstract
This report deals with the development of electrochemical supercapacitors based on MnO2/RuO2 binary oxides and using titanium as the current collector. Nanostructured titanium electrodes with sufficient conductivity were obtained using several methods. We found that MnO2/RuO2 binary oxides cannot be electrodeposited on titanium without dramatically increasing the resistance of the electrode. An alternative for the preparation of MnO2/RuO2 binary oxides by the coprecipitation method was also investigated and is described in this report
