Abstract
The report summarizes progress made on the present contract since submission of the interim report in December 1986. Modelling of two-component droplet ignition is now substantially complete. The model is described, and preliminary results presented. A discussion of reaction rate models for two-component mixtures is given, and the problem of predicting mixing rates within the droplet is reviewed.
