Abstract
DSSP50 is a computer code for evaluating the dynamics and manoeuverability of submarines and smaller streamlined underwater vehicles. This document is a description of the algorithms used in the program. Although written for DSSP50, it may be useful to those with a more general interest in simulating submarine manoeuvers. Other documents provide a guide to using DSSP50 and detail its input requirements.
