Abstract
The primary objective of the research was to develop a dual visor operating system for the Gentex Model 190 helmet. The visor system would provide facial protection against windblast, birdstrike and solar glare whilst meeting the primary operational requirements specifically to provide left handed operation of both visors. The design requirements are detailed in full in a previous contract report, R84-22 (1).
