Abstract
This report provides a detailed analysis of the HITAHI finger vein sensor. It is one of the collaborative targets between DRDC Ottawa and NRC, with the ultimate aim to develop an anti-spoofing technique that can reliably distinguish artificial fingers from real ones. A complete measurement and analysis have been performed on the HITACHI finger vein sensor. Descriptions have been given in the following sections: - Working principle analysis; - Key specifications; - Structure analysis which includes light source structure, light source spectrum, vision part, electronics and data processing. In the last section, the comments and suggestions are provided.
