- Abstract
- Aerosols were prepared from sixteen materials, liquid and solid. These were used, over the size range 0.01-0.30 mu m, to challenge a standard filter paper. Penetration was nearly independent of the chemical nature of the aerosol in the size range 0.10-0.30 mu m. Below 0.10 mu m, penetration varied widely from challenge to challenge.
