Abstract
This document is a final report on the research project financed through financial encumbrance 323F157 from DREO. The research project was initiated in 1985 and was scheduled to end in the fiscal year 1987/88. The financial encumbrance was created to provide funds for the purpose of carrying out fundamental and applied research on light scattering from spherical and non-spherical particles and for the examination of the parameters to identify spherical particles in a background of non-spherical particles.
